MATES(Mitsubishi Advanced Total Engineering system of Ships) is the 3D engineering system which has been specially designed and developed for shipbuilding by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.
In its history over 30 years, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries has constructed many kinds of ship such as VLCC, LNGC, LPGC, Bulk Carrier, Container Ship, PCC, Passenger Ship, Ferry, Patrol Vessel, Destroyer, etc. with MATES.
The shipbuilding know-how of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, which has been building ships for 150 years, is accumulated in MATES. MATES has been utilized by not only Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group but also about 30 shipyards and design and engineering offices ,and MATES has led to their successes.
