Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Group has laid a framework for controlling financial data from the moment of its generation according to the group's shared master data and business processes, and forwarding them to the analytics platform almost in real time. This is enabling the visualization of business management indicators across the group and speedy decision-making without the need to pay attention to the differences among the companies. This report describes the components and underlying technologies of MHI's global enterprise management system (GEMS), which was developed with the aim of preparing data for use in business decision-making in a timely manner by standardizing financial data based on the globally shared master data.
