Trent XWB is one of the Trent engine family developed by Rolls-Royce in the UK.
This engine, rating 34-44 tons of thrust, has achieved a further improvement in fuel efficiency compared to the Trent 1000. It obtained type certificate in 2011 and entered into service along with Airbus A350 XWB in 2015. MHIAEL is responsible for manufacture of the combustor module and the low pressure turbine blade as a risk sharing partner.
