Record of Our Business Successes and Activities

Transportation: Bangkok Red Line Project in 2021

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd (MHI), Hitachi, Ltd. (Hitachi), and Sumitomo Corporation (Sumitomo) successfully completed construction of the Bangkok Red Line Project in 2021, a railway construction project awarded as a joint contract from State Railway of Thailand (SRT).

November 24, 2022 : AGC FLAT GLASS (THAILAND), TURBODEN (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries group company) and GREENTECH SOLUTION (GTS) adhere to Carbon Footprint Initiatives for Decarbonization

1.8 MWe Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) waste heat recovery system inaugurates in AGC, showcasing the Financing Programme for the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) Model Projects selected by the Ministry of Environment, Japan.

AGC Flat Glass (Thailand), Turboden (Mitsubishi Heavy Industries group company) and GreenTech Solution (GTS) reached the joint partnership to display carbon credentials for waste heat recovery and production of green power at AGC’s Float Glass Plant in Samut Prakan, Thailand. The ambitious targets to centralize their sustainability strategy with measurable parameters and demonstrate integrative framework to accelerate decarbonization.

September 5, 2024 : PTT Executives Explore Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) Pilot Project with Yokohama City and MHI, Targeting Global Climate Solutions.

January 29, 2025 : Urban Transportation System Seminar in Bangkok

Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) of Japan held an urban transportation seminar to promote urban transportation systems and Transit - Oriented Development (TOD) in Thailand at the Bangkok Club, Sathorn City Tower.

Mr. Yuji Sakamoto, Manager of Mobility Business Group 2 from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. of Japan participated as a speaker to share information of Automated Guideway Transit (AGT), the advanced mid-size mass transit system.
