The LE-7A rocket engine is an improved version of the LE-7 engine, developed for the first stage of the H-II rocket and featuring a Staged Combustion Cycle.
To succeed in the highly competitive global satellite launch market, the LE-7A engine offers improved reliability, enhanced operability, and reduced costs compared to the LE-7 engine. The LE-7A engine is installed on the H-IIA and H-IIB rockets.
