The H-II Transfer Vehicle (HTV) is the transfer vehicle to deliver daily goods such as water, food, and clothing and experimental equipment to the crew on the Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) as well as those of other countries on the International Space Station (ISS). This vehicle is unmanned, launched by H-IIB, and approaches the station automatically, and is maintained and moored by the ISS facility. After the completion of its work, it will self-destruct and disappear when it re-enters the atmosphere.
