Vina Kyoei upgrades wire rod quality with Primetals Technologies equipment

Seeking to improve wire rod quality and mill utilization, Vina Kyoei has contracted with Primetals
Technologies to upgrade the pinch roll and laying head in its wire rod mill in Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province,
Vietnam. The addition of SR Series pipe will extend the laying head pipe life and improve the laying
pattern. An electrical and automation package also supplied will integrate the new equipment.
Commissioning is expected by early next year.
