The Hospitality Guesthouse "A Dream A Day In Tokyo" operates "making memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families" by providing volunteers to plan memorable family trips, arrange visits, provide medical care system support, and support sightseeing, etc. as a project to fulfill the dreams of children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.

The MHI Group is also cooperating with the activities of the guesthouse, and a total of 12 staff members volunteered to participate in a trip to Tokyo on October 2-5, taking turns for each schedule, and supported sightseeing at attractions such as the Ghibli Museum, Mitaka and Odaiba.

On the day of the trip, the MHI Group volunteers, along with volunteers from other companies, carried out activities such as guiding children and their families through crowds, arranging tickets for the next attraction, saving spaces for lunch, and taking memorial family photos in order to create many calm and pleasant memories.

The volunteer participants made comments such as, "Since wheelchairs are difficult to move in a crowded place and hit pedestrians in a hurry, I felt that support is absolutely necessary." and, "There are places in commercial facilities where it is difficult to move, so it was a good opportunity for us to see the daily environment of physically handicapped persons from their perspective." making it a valuable experience for volunteer participants.

Based on the CSR Action Guidelines "create a more harmonious society", the MHI Group will continue to support participation in volunteer activities, each of which is an opportunity for each employee to be directly involved with society.
