Launch Postponement of the H3 Launch Vehicle No.9 (H3 F9) which carries aboard MICHIBIKI No.7, Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZS-7)

On January 7, 2026, we announced the launch postponement of the H3 Launch Vehicle No.9 (H3 F9) which carries aboard MICHIBIKI No.7, Quasi-Zenith Satellite System (QZS-7). However, as further investigation into the launch failure of the H3 Launch Vehicle No.8 (H3 F8) and an evaluation of its impact on subsequent launch vehicles remain necessary, the launch will not be conducted within the initially designated launch window, which was set through March 31, 2026.
We are continuing our efforts to determine the cause of H3F8 launch failure. The new launch schedule will be announced once confirmed.
