A Three-Dimensional Variably Sized Box-Making Machine
A three-dimensional variably sized box-making machine "COMPOX" (trademark registration pending) is packaging process equipment that can automatically adjust the three sides (length, width, and height) of the cardboard box used for shipping products according to the product size, providing a box of the smallest size required for packaging. Cardboard boxes with a total size of all three sides of 50 cm up to a maximum of 130 cm can be automatically produced at a speed of up to 10 boxes per minute (600 boxes per hour).

Advantages
Issue 1: Transportation costs are high
For parcel delivery services, etc., the larger the package size is, the higher the shipping cost becomes and the greater the burden becomes.
Solution: Optimal box size
Supply the smallest size box possible for the size of the product.
Issue 2: Managing and storing materials is difficult
Keeping multiple types of material in stock requires inventory management and space for the storage.
Solution: Have just one type of material
Items are cut to the size necessary, so there is no need to stock multiple materials.
Issue 3: Regulatory changes in the logistics industry in 2024
There are many pressing issues, such as demands for deliveries with short lead-times and a reduced number of truck deliveries.
Solution: Improve the transportation efficiency
Increasing the volumes loaded onto trucks can be expected to reduce the number of transporting vehicles.
This can also help solve the driver shortage and help reduce CO2 emissions.
Equipment Overview
The lengths of the three sides of the box are automatically changed each time in accordance with the order.
Box Size Optimization Software
The optimum size is derived using dedicated software (developed by our company).
We can also make proposals for automation, such as linkage with an automated warehouse, so please feel free to consult us.
