Takasago Machinery Works has established a quality assurance policy of "meeting customer expectations and wishes by providing safe and highly reliable products and services." We earned certification under the ISO 9001 international standard for quality assurance for our wind power machinery in January 1994 (responsibility for which was transferred to Hiroshima Machinery Works in February 1) and for other products in August 1995. We also earned certification under the ISO 14001 international standard for environmental management in June 1998 as part of an effort to reduce our environmental footprint through business activities devoted to environmental protection and to strengthening our international competitiveness by building an environmental management system that complies with global standards.
