MHPS Receives Full-turnkey Order for GTCC Power Generation System for Indonesia's State-owned Electricity Company

Yokohama, September 7, 2016 - Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd. (MHPS), together with Mitsubishi Corporation and PT. Wijaya Karya (Persero) Tbk. (WIKA), a leading Indonesian civil construction firm, has received a full-turnkey order for a 500 megawatts (MW) expansion of the Muara Karang natural-gas-fired gas turbine combined cycle (GTCC) power plant from PT. PLN (Persero), Indonesia's state-owned electricity company, combined with a Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA). Operation of this new power plant will be commenced in 2019.
