Our Employee Honored as “Contemporary Master Craftsman”

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation (MCO) is proud to announce that Mr. Sakamoto Naoki, Acting Manager of Rotor Production Section, Production Division has been awarded the "Excellent Skilled Worker Award" by the Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan.
This award recognizes individuals who possess the highest level of craftsmanship in Japan and serve as role models for other skilled workers. It aims to promote respect for technical skills and enhance the status and standards of skilled professionals.
Mr. Sakamoto has dedicated many years to mastering advanced precision machining techniques and mentoring younger generations. His exceptional achievements were officially recognized at the award ceremony held on November 10, 2025, at the RIHGA Royal Hotel Tokyo, where he received the Certificate of Excellence and Medal from the Senior Vice Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare.
