FPSO: Floating Production, Storage and Offloading System

FPSO (Floating Production, Storage and Offloading System) is a floating facility used for processing of oil and gas from the subsea reservoir.

CO2 injection Compressor for FPSO

The photo at rightbelow shows a CO2 injection compressor for an FPSO that was delivered to Brazil.
Aboard an FPSO, the oil and natural gas which is produced underground is separated, the oil is stored in the hull tank and then shipped via a transportation tanker.
The natural gas is treated (acid gas removal, mercury removal, dehydration). The produced CO2 gas is used for Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR.) Processed natural gas is transported by pipeline or used for EOR.
MCO offers the various compressors used in each process, and contributes to the stable supply of energy through gas and crude‐oil production increase.
