Driving Toward a Decarbonized Society -
MCO Leads the CCUS Market with Advanced CO2 Compression Technology

MCO is committed to advancing CO2 compression technologies and expanding its global presence in the CCUS sector—a key enabler of decarbonization. CCUS captures CO2 emissions from sources such as chemical plants and power stations and stores them underground, preventing their release into the atmosphere. Compressors play a vital role in this process by pressurizing CO2 for transport and storage.
With over 100 CO2 compressors delivered to fertilizer plants and CCUS projects worldwide, MCO has built a strong track record over the past 30 years. Our high-pressure, high-capacity compressors have been deployed in the U.S., Canada, Qatar, Brazil, and other countries.
Our flagship product, the MAC-G, is an integral gear compressor capable of handling flow rates up to 200,000 m³/h and discharge pressures up to 2,900 psi (200 bar). Its multi-stage, multi-shaft design ensures high efficiency and reliability, making it ideal for CCUS, EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery), and CO2 separation applications.
MCO will continue to enhance its design and anti-corrosion technologies to meet the unique challenges of CO2 compression, contributing to the realization of a carbon-neutral society.
