Compressor and steam turbine for Etylene plant in Korea

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Compressor Corporation (MCO) has received an order for charge gas compressor and terxiary refrigerant gas compressor train for rerate of ethylene plant in Korea.
With application of these compressors and steam turbine drivers, the existing plant capacity 640KTA will increase to 1,000KTA.
Since the delivery of steam turbine driver in 1992 for original plant and centrifigal compressor in 2001 for expansion project, this successive order demonstrates reliable and stable operation of MCO’s centrifugal compressor and steam turbine.
