種子島宇宙センターから平成30年9月23日2時52分27秒（日本標準時）に、宇宙ステーション補給機「こうのとり」7号機（HTV7）を搭載したH-IIBロケット7号機（H-IIB・Ｆ7）を打ち上げました。
ロケットは計画どおり飛行し、打上げから約14分59秒後に「こうのとり」7号機を正常に分離したことを確認しました。

第1段・第2段 各機体の、液体水素・液体酸素 各タンクが100%充てんされたことを確認しました。It has been confirmed that the first- and second-stage liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen tanks have been fully loaded. #H2BF7
ロケットの誘導制御プログラムを作動させ、飛行中の姿勢を制御するための装置が正しく動作することを確認しました。By running programs of the guidance and control system mounted on H-IIB, it has been confirmed that all devices for flight attitude control are working as expected. #H2BF7
