MHI to Exhibit at 23rd ITS World Congress Melbourne 2016
-- Exhibits Will Introduce Company's Advanced ITS Solutions, Including Road Pricing and Traffic Control Systems --

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Machinery Systems, Ltd. (MHI-MS) is exhibiting at the “23rd ITS World Congress Melbourne 2016” to be held at The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC)) in Australia from October 10 through 14. The theme of this year's event is “ITS - Enhancing Livable Cities and Communities.” MHI-MS is showing variety of solutions and products in the field of intelligent transport systems (ITS) such as,

  1. Various ITS solutions covering toll collection systems through highway traffic management systems
  2. Providing “one stop solution” with the global business partner Xerox Corporation

In the meantime, MHI-MS will present two papers at the Congress. Topics are;

  1. Hybrid DSRC (Note1) communication trial for integrated ETC
  2. Development of automobile management system using MQTT (Note2) communication

The ITS World Congress is the only global gathering dedicated to the topic of ITS. An annual event, it is convened on an alternating basis by three organizations representing three geographic regions: ERTICO-ITS Europe for the European zone, the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITS America) for the U.S., and ITS AP for the Asia-Pacific region. This year, approximately 7,000 participants from more than 60 countries are expected to attend, and the program is scheduled to include presentations of 650 papers.
