Each year, some 700 operators and over 150 shift teams from PWR nuclear power plants located primarily in five of Japan’s prefectures come to NTC to hone their knowledge and skills.
Mechanism of nuclear power generation
The heat produced by fuel at the PWR is converted to steam by a steam generator, and this steam is used to operate a turbine generator.
