Efforts toward the decommissioning of nuclear facilities
The decommissioning of nuclear facilities generates a lot of radioactive waste. Disposal classification of radioactive waste is defined according to the type and amount of radioactive nuclides contained in the waste. Since the disposal cost of radioactive waste differs depending on each disposal classification, our company analyzes the concentration of radioactive nuclides in the waste by making full use of our radiochemical analytical techniques, and contributes to the development of radioactivity concentration assessment technology for accurate and rational implementation of waste disposal.
