High burnup of fuel is an important approach to reduce fuel cycle costs and the amount of spent fuel generated. Therefore, we are developing technologies to produce high-quality pellets by using atmosphere-controlled high-temperature heating furnaces, etc., to satisfy the required specifications of various pellet characteristics (density, crystal grain size, O/U, etc.).
