MIAMI - MIA Mover
The MIA Mover carries passengers between Miami International Airport and the airport's Intermodal Center. The Intermodal Center is comprised of a consolidated rental car facility and a rapid transit hub including commuter rail, intercity rail, local bus, and intercity bus services. Opening for service in 2011, it comprises of 12 train cars running in 2 or 4 car train formations with the flexibility to increase or decrease capacity as needed. The system runs above ground with a semi-online maintenance facility supporting all vehicle inspections, servicing, and overhauls.
