The Atlanta Skytrain carries passengers between the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport's Main Airport Terminal, Rental Car and Long Term parking Facilities as well as the Georgia International Conference Center together with it's surrounding hotels. Opening for service in 2009 it comprises of 12 train cars running in 2 car train formations with the flexibility to increase or decrease capacity as needed. The system runs above ground with a dedicated offline maintenance facility providing for all vehicle inspections, servicing and overhauls.
