Tokyo, November 17, 2025 - Mitsubishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a part of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) Group, has held a business briefing for its business partners in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. The event brought together 122 participants from 76 companies to share an overview of our operations and future strategies, as well as to exchange views on initiatives aimed at sustainable growth.
We explained our corporate profile, vision, progress on business plans, safety initiatives, and expectations for our business partners. We reaffirmed our fundamental principle that “Safety Takes Precedence Over All Else,” emphasizing our commitment to improving workplace safety and comfort at shipbuilding sites. We also called for stronger collaboration to enhance shipbuilding capacity and boost production efficiency, while underscoring the importance of building a resilient supply chain considering global developments.
Furthermore, we awarded Kariya Industries the “Outstanding Partner Award” for its exceptional contributions to our business. The company has earned high marks for quality, delivery, and technical excellence, and we expressed our sincere appreciation for its significant support of our operations.
