Ensuring long-term stable operation with unique technologies

PAUT (Phased Array Ultrasonic Test) inspections

A type of ultrasonic flaw-detection inspection for steam turbines. It can detect flaws in the rotor blade while the rotor is in an assembled state, so we use it for maintenance inspections. Detecting and repairing structural defects ensures long-term operational reliability, and the number of inspections performed has been increasing in recent years.

SermaLon coating

By coating the gas flow surfaces of the compressor rotor and the stationary parts with PTFE(note), the surface roughness is significantly reduced, preventing imbalances due to polymer adhesion caused by gases released during operation. This allows for continuous long-term operation. MCOSA’s rotor maintenance Value Up Menu services include both new and repeated coating.
