Warning – Fraudulent emails

It has come to our attention that a number of our customers have received fraudulent emails that appear to be sent from our [email protected] email address. Through email spoofing, email messages are sent with a forged sender address.
We take information security very seriously and ask that you also be vigilant in order to prevent fraud and to help protect our common interest. Spoof emails may look almost identical to real emails and thus are not easy to recognize. However, you can minimize risks by paying attention to:
The sender/recipient;
introduction of the message: when spoofed there is often no personal introduction;
design and styling of the email;
unusual requests, like providing or altering sensitive information;
suspicious attachments or links; when in doubt, never open these.
