MHI-MME Exhibits at Marintec South America (Navalshore) 2014 Introducing boilers and turbines for FPSO and FLNG

Tokyo, Japan, August 5th, 2014 - Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Engine Co., Ltd. (MHI-MME) will participate in Marintec South America which is scheduled to be held at Sul America Convention Center in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil from August 12th to 14th. Our company has taken part in it for three consecutive years, so this is the fourth participation. We are going to exhibit boilers and turbines for offshore fields, 2-stroke marine engine and the other products in this portfolio.

Marintec South America, formerly known as Navalshore, is an international exhibition that takes place every year. Brazil offshore market is expanding with a central focus on Petrobras, and quite a few guests who are associated with the offshore are expected to join this show. MHI-MME booth, whose number is 519, is located in the Japan Pavilion that is coordinated by Japan Ship Machinery & Equipment Association. At MHI-MME booth, we introduce not only offshore boilers, turbines and low speed engines, but also the Project MEET, our proud solution for eco-friendly and fuel savings.

Furthermore, on August 11th, MHI-MME will take part in the round-table meeting on Japan-Brazil cooperation in the offshore and shipbuilding sectors. The meeting is sponsored by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The fourth round-table meeting, which many concerned parties such as the Brazilian Offshore and Shipbuilding companies including Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. join, will focus on the shipbuilding supply chain that is the topic covered in the last meeting.
