Tokyo, Japan, June 9th, 2014 - Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Marine Machinery & Engine Co., Ltd. (MHI-MME) exhibited a booth at Posidinia 2014 held at Metropolitan Expo in Athens, Greece from June 2nd to 6th. Over 300 guests including Greek shipowners and MET turbochargers users visited MHI-MME booth with unexampled prosperity. MHI-MME welcomed many guests at the bar counter which had enjoyed a good reputation from the visitors of Sea Japan 2014 in April, offering Greek wine and Japanese sake.

Besides the exhibiting booth, MHI-MME also made a presentation at Japan-Posidonia 2014 Seminar which was organized by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism of Japan on June 4th. The presentation introduced not only the global network and energy savings/eco-friendly solutions (Project MEET), but our latest topics. The topics include the order situation of our latest engine UEC-50LSH, Electric-assist MET turbochargers of which high performance was confirmed at the sea trial in April, and UST (Ultra Steam Turbine Plant) as our latest reheat- regenerative steam turbine plant.

Greece is one of the strategic markets where MHI-MME has a large number of MET turbocharger users. MHI-MME will reflect the voices from our customers this time to future products and services for better customer satisfaction.
