TJM3
[ Defense Aeroengine ]

The TJM3 is a small single-shaft turbo jet engine developed in 1983 by MHI for the target drone developed and manufactured by SUBARU (previously known as Fuji Heavy Industries) for Japan Air Self Defence Force. In meeting the specific use as a powerplant for target drone, simple and robust design was adopted in designing the fuel and ignition system. Since its service entry in 1986, 615 units have been delivered by 2018 and is still under quantity production.
