MHPS Receives Order for Ultra-supercritical-pressure Boiler for 1,000 MW Class Coal-fired Power Plant of Korea Midland Power, Jointly with Daelim Industrial of Korea

Yokohama, November 19, 2015 – Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems, Ltd. (MHPS), jointly with Daelim Industrial Co., Ltd. of Korea, has received an order for a boiler to be installed at the Shinseocheon Thermal Power Plant, a 1,000 megawatts (MW) class coal-fired ultra-supercritical-pressure* thermal power generation plant to be newly constructed by Korea Midland Power Co., Ltd. (KOMIPO). The boiler will be a core component of the large-scale high-efficiency power generation plant that is slated to commence operation in September 2019.
