MHPS Receives Order for 3 Sets of M701 DA Gas Turbine for Zerger Gas-fired Power Plant in Turkmenistan

Yokohama, March 31, 2016 -- Mitsubishi Hitachi Power Systems (MHPS) has received an order for three sets of M701 DA gas turbine and generator to be installed at the 400 MW Zerger gas-fired power plant for the national utility, Turkmenenergo, in Turkmenistan. The turbines will be supplied to Sumitomo Corporation, who are charged with engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) for the plant. The power generation system is scheduled to go on stream in 2018.
