Key Highlights
- Joining Forces Across MHI: MHI-ESA employees joined fellow MHI Group colleagues for the inaugural national celebration of the Paralympic Movement in Singapore.
- Championing Para Sports: The event helped raise awareness of para sports and celebrated the Paralympic value of courage, determination, inspiration, and equality.
- Beyond the Workplace: Employees participated alongside their family members, making the occasion a shared experience for colleagues and loved ones.
A Milestone for Singapore’s Paralympic Movement
The inaugural Paralympic Day represented an important milestone in bringing para sports closer to the wider public.
Beyond the walk itself, the occasion created greater visibility for persons with disabilities and the achievement of para-athletes, while encouraging people of different abilities to experience sport as a common ground.
For Singapore’s para-athletes preparing for the Asian Para Games Nagoya 2026, the gathering was also an opportunity to feel the encouragement of the people and organizations behind them as they work towards their next international stage.
One MHI Group, Walking with Purpose
The occasion brought colleagues from across the Group together outside their usual business environment, united by a cause that reflects the importance of equality and participation.
Rather than simply attending an event, taking part gave employees an opportunity to experience the Paralympic Movement first-hand and better appreciate the determination and achievements of para-athletes.
Making It a Family Experience
The day was made more meaningful as employees were able to bring their family members along for the walk.
Sharing the experience with loved ones extended the conversation beyond the workplace, creating an opportunity for different generations to learn more about para sports and the importance of ensuring that everyone has the chance to participate.
Moments like these can help turn awareness into understanding – not only through what people hear about inclusion, but through what they experience together.
Every Step Reflects Stand by U
MHI-ESA believes that Stand by U extends beyond the solutions and services it provides. It is also reflected in how we engage with the people and society around us.
Taking part in Singapore’s inaugural Paralympic Day Walk was one of putting that belief into action – by standing beside fellow MHI Group colleagues, celebrating the achievements of para-athletes and contributing to a movement that recognizes the potential of every individual.
Through experiences that bring people closer together, MHI-ESA will continue to carry the spirit of Stand by U beyond the workplace and into the communication around us.
