FACTORY TOUR

This is where you will find information on our reservation-only MRJ Final Assembly Hangar tour. Join the tour to view our "full scale MRJ mock-up," "flight deck," actual equipment used for manufacturing tests and design verifications, and the MRJ production plant.

TOUR SUMMARY

Enjoy a variety of experiential exhibits and exhibits of actual equipment used in processes ranging from the development of the MRJ to its production.

The tour is 90 minutes long. (Total of 140 minutes when reception and bus travel time are included.)

  • There are no toilet breaks for 90 minutes once the tour begins. Please take care of your toilet needs before checking in.
  • No food is allowed in the museum.
  • Pre-schoolers are not permitted entry to the MRJ MUSEUM. Visitors with pre-schoolers will be denied entry.
  • Only the registered visitor may enter the facility.
Access
Things you should bring for the tour
  • Personal identification with your name and date of birth (driver's license, My Number card, health insurance card, passport, Residence Card, Special Permanent Resident Card, etc.)
  • QR code issued with your reservation. (Presentation of print outs and images displayed on smartphones are acceptable.)
  • 01High school and university students who present their student ID will receive a student discount. Elementary and junior high school students need only to present ID that confirms their age to receive a student discount.
  • 02You cannot join the tour if you have forgotten your ID (for foreign nationalities, personal ID such as your passport, Residence Card, or Special Permanent Resident Card).
  • 03Disabled people are requested to bring the following handbooks.
    Physical disability handbook, war victims handbook, mental handicap handbook, care handbook, atomic bomb survivor handbook, atomic bomb survivor health book, atomic bomb survivor certificate, mental disability health and welfare handbook.

  • Photography with cameras or mobiles phones, or the carrying in or use of any electronic devices capable of recording is forbidden during the tour.
  • Lockers are available for your luggage.
  • There will be no toilet breaks for 90 minutes once the tour begins.
  • There are lockers for large objects near the 1st floor entrance of the MRJ Museum but please ask our personal if it may not fit in.

Tour Overview

Tour days Monday, Wednesday to Sunday
  • Closed on Tuesdays, during New Years Season and Maintenance periods
Tour age range Elementary school students and above (elementary school students must be accompanied by an adult).

Preschool children are, out of consideration for their safety, not admitted to the museum even if accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Start of reservation Individual: Starts from 00:00 two months before the day of the tour.
General group: Starts from 00:00 three months before the day of the tour.
School group: Starts from 00:00 four months before the day of the tour.
How to make a reservation
Payment procedures
Individual: Make reservations from the MRJ Museum website. All individual tickets must be paid for in advance by credit card.
General Group: Make reservations via FAX. Download the application form from the "General Group Reservations" page. Groups (non-school) are requested to render payment in cash at the reception counter.
School Group: Make reservations via FAX. Download the application form from the "School Group Reservations" page.
Cancel or change reservation You will be able to cancel or make changes to your reservation on My Page until 17:00 two days before your tour date.
  • No refund for changes or cancellations after 17:00 of two days before the tour.
  • If your reservation is for a school group, please contact our customer center.
