While there was a series of reports today related to possible integration of business operations of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. ("MHI") and Hitachi, Ltd., none of those reports are based upon MHI's own report or disclosure. Reported integration is not based upon MHI's corporate decision, and MHI has no plan to enter into any of the arrangement reported today.
